Pastel.

Have always been a fan of pastel! Since I haven't done pastel editing for long, decided to randomly pick some pictures taken over the past few weeks in my new room and in Weymouth to play around with the soft touch. Will upload more pictures of my room and my Weymouth trip in the next post! :)

Thank God it's Friday!

Departure gifts.

This morning my sweet sister surprised me with some loves. I've been eyeing this Bambi but it just simply cost too much so I didn't get it. I suppose the feelings of getting something you really love and want is heavenly indescribable! It's 100% handmade, with good wood.

Gift box from Delectable. Love the vintage floral prints so much!

Like the gift box isn't amazing enough by itself, I was surprised by more surprises inside - apple cinnamon cupcakes!! Home baked by sis. They taste the best!

Lastly, a self-designed envelope and letter. LOVE IT! Reminds me of the one the boyfriend made me last year :)

Can't get my eyes off this treasure! <3

Thanks so much! I love you :*

Flight in hours. I gotta go catch a nap first! Bye :)

Just some photos I snapped over the past couple of days. The florist told me this rose is in lipstick pink. How lovely! I am always impressed by the layers (that seem infinite) that are unveiled when the flower blossoms. It's just so delicately beautiful.

Observed this flare through the glass window yesterday evening (100% pure!). Within 10 minutes, it's gone! The sun really sets too fast.

Asked sister to help me with a little shooting too. I feel so sorry to her for being so grumpy and impatient because I didn't get what I had expected. But I really really appreciate her help! You know I love you! :)

If you observe closer, you can see my legs were terribly bitten by mosquitoes. My sis's too! I'm sooo sorry!

How are you doing? I don't know if I'd have the opportunity to update frequently from now on, as school starts in a week and I'll be probably busy settling down. My friend told me it's all cold and gloomy there in UK, so I think I won't be getting good pictures too :( Still, I wish the sun came out when I arrive! :)

All the best to whatever you do! :)

Just less than a week I'll be in a new land! Entering a new chapter of my life, I let these beautiful balloons to symbolize the transition. It's certain I'll be homesick, but let's pump in some positive thoughts and energy at the moment :) I gotta start trying to make myself feel comfortable around people and stop locking myself in the room whole day with the computer, hahah!

Did some typos just now and downloaded new fonts! :)

Oh guess what? It's my parents' anniversary today :)

Happy Sunday, lovelies!

Accessories from love.

My love surprised me with a parcel of accessories this afternoon. He had shown me earlier via web but I didn't expect them to look that beautiful! Oh thanks so much! He always has the best taste :) (that's why he chose me, hahaha!)

#1. Mustache with Eyes Vintage Ring
Again, it's too loose for me but then I realized I could actually press those quirky eyes inwards to secure the ring! It's now one of my favs  :)

#2. Vintage Carousel Necklace
I must say I love this so damn much! It's just so delicately presented, with all the fine details and I love it's in bronze. I have been searching for things carousel-shaped.

#3. Clock Vintage Ring
One of the wow-wow-wow pieces in my collection too!

The edits above were done using the curve Julia Trotti just released today. I think I'm becoming more adventurous when it comes to the filters. Now my eyes just can't settle for the plain, which in a way isn't completely good (since people always like to emphasize originality). But I'm just discovering different styles instead of settling with a constant one :) Never try, never know! Dramatic, maybe over, but for the time being, I'm quite satisfied with it :) Thanks Julia for the awesome curves! Sharing is caring :)

Have a lovely weekend ahead.

Afternoon at home.

My initial shooting plan was actually a pastel-like theme, with cotton candy and balloons. I modified the idea later on to add in the nerdy elements - double braids and nerdy specs with high waist pants. It didn't turn out what I had expected probably because the outfit wasn't nice enough, and the vintage suitcases and flowers just didn't match the theme. At last I decided to change and put myself into the English vintage dress. So I can say this isn't a themed shoot, just me playing around at home :)

Uh oh, fail! Forgot to hide my remote.

Didn't get the cotton candy I wanted too! This one looked weird!

Switched!

See not, speak not, listen not.

Have a wonderful day!
