It's no secret that simplicity has always been something I will hold onto forever, and I see no chance of it disappearing for the rest of my life. Since small I get really annoyed by things being redundant and messy, and one of my utmost favourites is to clear things off, be they in digital or tangible form. I have come to a stage where my friend would snatch my memory card away just so I would stop deleting precious memories off. Anyway, as the quote 'simplicity is the ultimate sophistication' suggests, I believe things are most beautiful simplified. Well, long live simplicity! 

My favourite flower in my favourite colour from my favourite guy! I have a thing for dried petals. 

The Aussie hauls! The perfect travel kit is lovingly gifted by June. Now I have no excuse to not jot down my travel diary! 

I wish I thrifted this bottle but it was purchased (rather costly) from Typo. It remains my best vase so far. 

How can a friend be so sweet?! Macarons delivery to my doorstep, courtesy of Stephanie.

It is no secret that I am in love with collarbone, from a photography perspective that is. My intention was to paint some symbols and words on top but later figured it was too hard to do it myself so I put up with a plain bone. It is already Thursday and I can't wait for the weekend to come!

During the evening I took a long walk down the trail to explore more Spring beauty. I have a love-hate relationship with bringing camera for a shoot out alone. One hand I enjoy my personal company that brings no pressure and time constraints, the other I am aware of how others would think of me. I was born very shy and timid and I really hate making eye-contacts at times. Though, these few years I'm gradually becoming more confident in dealing with social bonds. As I walked in circle round the tree to locate a good angle, two girls passed by and mumbled What's wrong with that girl...? I didn't turn my back but surprisingly I didn't feel embarrassed. It only made me think how important it is to adhere to your own principles and take people's sights and opinions easy. 

I enjoyed very much the walk. The wind was a little too strong but everything was just as nice. I walked a road embraced by trees and the rays found ways between the trunks. 

Bought this mini fox box of color pencils, love them! 

Made French toast sandwich for breakfast the other day. Breakfast made easy - just attach two slices of smoked hams and a slice of cheese between two slices of breads lightly coated with eggs and pan fry with butter. Cut diagonally into four equal triangles.

This morning when I woke up, I took a glance at the view outside my window and spotted some beautiful daffodils waving at me! Instantly I was reminded of the tree full of cherry blossoms I passed by a couple of days ago. I am always a little shy when it comes to going out to capture alone, but gave it a try in the end after having told myself that everyone's just a passerby. The feeling's wonderful. Capturing ignites my inner excitement. I can't wait for full Spring!

I can't express how I really love mornings with simple breakfast and fresh flowers. It's things like that that completely brighten my day. What's more... TGIF! This weekend will be quite a hectic one for me: my turn to clean the house! On top of that, I have heavy laundry to do. Let's just hope I will still have break times in between to capture around with my Diana. Any suggestions for the name? I'm thinking on Lollie, Willow, Gabriella... What do you think? 

Have always been a fan of pastel! Since I haven't done pastel editing for long, decided to randomly pick some pictures taken over the past few weeks in my new room and in Weymouth to play around with the soft touch. Will upload more pictures of my room and my Weymouth trip in the next post! :) 

Just some photos I snapped over the past couple of days. The florist told me this rose is in lipstick pink. How lovely! I am always impressed by the layers (that seem infinite) that are unveiled when the flower blossoms. It's just so delicately beautiful. 

Observed this flare through the glass window yesterday evening (100% pure!). Within 10 minutes, it's gone! The sun really sets too fast. 

Asked sister to help me with a little shooting too. I feel so sorry to her for being so grumpy and impatient because I didn't get what I had expected. But I really really appreciate her help! You know I love you! :) 

If you observe closer, you can see my legs were terribly bitten by mosquitoes. My sis's too! I'm sooo sorry! 

How are you doing? I don't know if I'd have the opportunity to update frequently from now on, as school starts in a week and I'll be probably busy settling down. My friend told me it's all cold and gloomy there in UK, so I think I won't be getting good pictures too :( Still, I wish the sun came out when I arrive! :)

Been long I haven't posted my Instagram collection. Kinda interesting to see everything cropped into squares, a different type of beauty I guess. Anyway, I'm hating my addiction and everyday when I see pictures uploaded by my fav. Instagrammers, I really think I do not deserve all the followers I have now. Feel so tiny (and utterly inferior) under their magical pictures... But I'm still glad they 'give me face' followed me back (hahaha). It doesn't matter at all if they unfollow in the end, because I don't have much confidence myself to hold 'em long (they'll realize one day I'm not worth it :P). 

Anyway, I'm loving the community still. There are a lot of kind people out there, round the globe! And it completely changed my photography perception. Though it's not quite the same like last time, it still continues to provide a platform for aspiring photographers to unleash their talents.
