A F1.4 Date.

So much pleasure meeting Shaunz See! If you haven't already known, Shaun is a brilliant photographer himself, and definitely makes a good model! On this misty Tuesday morning we 'hiked' up Brandon Hill and had an enjoyable walk exploring the tranquil route. Shaun courteously mounted his splendid Sigma 35mm f1.4 on my camera, and geez! How can I not love that babe?! The creamy bokeh won my heart. So after some chasing of squirrels and taking in the last bit of Autumn, we settled for morning stains at his favourite cafe. Wonderful day indeed!

Sydney gave us a short but sweet stay, not in its entirety due to the heavy downpours and chilly weather but the scenes were definitely eye-opening! Also, I was very delighted to be able to meet up with Amanda Mabel and she showed me around her university. We didn't catch many pictures as it got too dark that day but she was such a beautiful soul, both talented and friendly! The rest of the days my family and I spent wandering in the city, amazed by all the wonderful structures. Wishing to go back one day!

Pictures sequence: University of Sydney - Sydney city centre (was on buses so not too sure the names of the attractions we passed) - Bondi Beach

I was again amazed by how magical natural light can be. Sometimes it is like a gentle whisper, blanketing the wheat field in shades of light yellow; the other it can be a harsh craftsman, contouring features and forming shadows. I must say it was an evening filled with delight, especially when you met young spirits who were all up for the love of photography but wouldn't mind posing in between.

You can view the previous photoshoot at the same field [here]. Can't believe a year just went by like that!
