Germany Part II.

The second part of my Germany trip covered a cruise along the beautiful Rhine River. I will wanna try the Danube River next time! Remember the song Blue Danube? Lalalalala~ lala~ lala~ (I don't actually expect you to be able to catch :P) Anyway, the cruise was wonderful, and we stopped at Bacharach, a tranquil small town along the river.

Oh before that, just to show you pictures of my breakfast! Aunt bought them from the neighborhood bakery and they're so fresh and delicious.

Scenery along the river.

This looks like a castle with a trapped princess inside, hahaha!

Recently I have a love for churches. Although I ain't a Christian, I really appreciate and enjoy looking at the structures.

Cuckoo clock! :)

And I too became very appreciative of lines!

Bacharach is like a fairytale land. I've never been to place lovely like this!

This oldest house in Bacharach (the Altes Haus) was constructed in 1368! I should have entered and see if I could get any vintage finds that'd been there for hundreds of years :P

Bought these from a vintage store.

Back to uncle's cottage and aaah, coffee! One of the best coffees I have had!

Uncle made us mussels that're heavenly awesome!!

Oh and one of the main purposes of our visit this time was to see my new born nephew, Raphael! He's such an adorable pie, hence excuse the abundance of similar pictures. Don't you love baby skin? :)

Garden.

That's all for my updates on trips. Will not be able to upload so many pictures already, since school starts! :( I wish I could visit Paris in the next few months (planning)! :)

Breakfast - get started with the day.

I am not really particular when it comes to food, but I see eating breakfast as something really important and enjoying. What beats having good food to warm your stomach while viewing the sun bathing the Earth out of the window? What's more, you can have a good mug of coffee in hand that helps you kick start a long day.

Anyway, just some breakfasts I made for the past couple of days. Nothing fancy, but simple and nice! Hope to get more simple breakfast recipes :)

Hello!

Recorded some videos of my uncle's house last week. My first time using my DSLR to record :) Used a trial version of video editor, that's why there's an annoying watermark in the middle! :( Anyway, have a nice day! :)

Germany.

Germany had been in my to-go list for a really long time. It's so special to me because I have a German aunt (uncle got married there). From a very young age, both of them would take turn to come Malaysia every year and surprised us kids with wonderful chocolate eggs with toys inside. Not to even forget the chewy gummy bears! So, after seeing them for 20 years in my home country, I finally got to visit their home, which apparently was so nice I did not wanna leave!

I had heard so many stories from my mom about German who are always so precise, discipline and demanding only high quality work and products. Just look at cars: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Porsche, and famous brands like Zwilling and all... Oh and famous athletes like Michael Schumacher... (Excuse my limited knowledge on sports!)

Anyway, I had a really great time at my uncle's house. We went to Trier on the second day, just wandering down the streets and went with the flow :)

My aunt decorated the house with pictures of us, the big big family! :)

Uncle with mom and aunt.

There goes my gorgeous German aunt! She's a really sweet person :)

Shot around uncle's house.

Do you fancy a dandelion ring? ;)

GERMAN SAUSAGES, which are the BEST sausage I have, and will, ever had!!!

Schwein Haksel (not sure about the spelling!).

COFFEE MAKER OMG LOVE.

I enjoyed this trip a lot. It is actually in my top 5 favorite trips! I'm sorry if I typed too much :P Having class tomorrow, see you!

Next up: Germany Part II
