  1. Hi mandy, absoultely love your pictures as always. I just got my new nikon d5100 and i was wondering, if you don't mind sharing; what settings of white balance do you use? Do you leave it at Auto or direct sunlight or your own custom preset? Because I find leaving it at direct sunlight gives me more warmer hues and Auto at a colder hue. Am i right? Not sure if it's my camera or the computer, the colours always seem off. I'm sorry for bothering, and thanks for taking your time to read this. Appreciate it. :)

    1. Hello Mindy, my white balance is at Cloudy, but sometimes I set it to Sunlight if it's too orangey. It all depends the hues you love - I generally prefer warmer ones. Try testing different balances to find the one you love! And don't feel sorry for asking! All the best xx

    2. Hi Mandy, thank you for your reply. I sorta got it now, I realized that when I shoot in liveview mode, the before & after snapping, the colour differ so much. Not sure if its happens in Nikon cameras though cos in my old Canon, how i look in liveview & after snapping, the colours are the same. Haha... no wonder I kept thinking what was wrong with the colour. Thanks again Mandy. xx

    3. Oh some Canon cameras do have colour differences between camera view and computer view I have heard! I haven't encountered such problem yet on my Nikon. Anyway you can adjust the colours on computer as post processing so I hope it isn't too much of a problem for you! :) Good luck xx
