York is definitely a wonderful place for travelling for a day or two. The historic city has signs of its ancient past in every corner and it's amazing to think all bricks that I was seeing are probably hundreds of years old. Another thing is that the town is rather small so strolling was a major part of the itinerary. Gloomy day on the second but sunny on the third, so blessed!
